Class "Pioneer" displays shine!
Our pupils are excited about their classes being named after famous pioneers.
To launch this new strategy the children have created communal displays which celebrate the life and achievements of their attached pioneer. These include figures as diverse as Winston Churchill, Nelson Mandela, Amelia Eardheart and David Weir. The children also undertook some writing about their pioneer and the best of these have been displayed too.
Ms Berthoud and Mr Britt reviewed the displays and praised the artwork and the quality of presentation in all classes and the handwriting in Years 1, 2 and 6.
The displays were a great way to structure the first few days back and to set out our new expectations about presentation and handwriting. We hope you enjoy perusing the photographs.
