It’s been a busy day on the farm today with the pupils visiting the bees. Dressed up in their overalls and head guards they were well protected as they went to farm the honey. https://t.co/w9M1SJ2Fcr

Today’s mission, which they chose to accept, was to cook a rhubarb crumble! It will be interesting to see how much of it is left by the end of dinner time. https://t.co/tv9LUuehYz

The children take turns cooking for each day - today the mission was Cornish pasties. How do you think they did? Do we have any budding Greggs pastry chefs in our midst? https://t.co/7V08gFeIfN

Pupil Learning Council

We are a committee of pupils representing each year group within the school.

Our belief is that the pupils at our school are the heart of our school community and therefore we value their thoughts, ideas and opinions. Our Pupil Learning Council is one way of ensuring the voice of the children is heard and used effectively in order to have a positive impact for the whole school and its future developments.

Class Representatives

Class Representatives from across the school were elected by their class peers. These class representatives have an important job description that involves:

  • Attending School Council meetings each half term
  • Being responsible for collecting the thoughts, ideas and opinions of the children in their class and reporting back to the Council.
  • Bringing new ideas forward for how we can improve our school and local environment.
  • Sharing ideas for fundraising events for the school and local or national charities.
